And make mention (O Muhammad) of Our bondman Job, when he cried unto his Lord (saying): Lo! the devil doth afflict me with distress and torment. 41 We said, "Stamp your foot! Here is cool water for you to wash in and drink," 42 And We bestowed upon him new offspring, doubling their number as an act of grace from Us, and as a reminder unto all who are endowed with insight. 43 [We said], "And take in your hand a bunch [of grass] and strike with it and do not break your oath." Indeed, We found him patient, an excellent servant. Indeed, he was one repeatedly turning back [to Allah]. 44 Remember Our servants Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob -- possessors of strength and vision. 45 Assuredly We purified them with a quality most pure, the remembrance of the Abode, 46 And most surely they were with Us, of the elect, the best. 47 Remember [Our servants] Ishmael, Elisha, and Dhu'l-Kifl. Each of them was among the just. 48 This is a Message (of admonition): and verily, for the righteous, is a beautiful Place of (Final) Return,- 49 They will enter gardens of Eden with their gates open for them. 50 wherein they recline, and wherein they call for fruits abundant, and sweet potions, 51 ۞ And with them are the pure spouses, who do not set gaze upon men except their husbands, of single age. 52 Such is the Promise made, to you for the Day of Account! 53 (It will be said to them)! Verily, this is Our Provision which will never finish; 54 This (shall be so); and most surely there is an evil resort for the inordinate ones; 55 Hell! Where they will burn, and worst (indeed) is that place to rest! 56 This is for the criminals – so that they may taste it – boiling hot water and pus. 57 And other (punishment) of the same kind-- of various sorts. 58 Here is a multitude rushing headlong with you. There is no welcome for them. They will roast in the fire. 59 They will say, "Nor you! No welcome for you. You, [our leaders], brought this upon us, and wretched is the settlement." 60 They will say: "Our Lord! Whoever brought this upon us, add to him a double torment in the Fire!" 61 And will add: "O what has happened to us that we do not see the men we counted among the wicked. 62 Took we them so unjustly for a butt of mockery, or are they deluding our eyes? 63 Indeed this is really true – the people of the hell quarrelling among themselves. 64
