The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)

8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

When the earth is shaken by the shaking thereof, 1 and earth brings forth her burdens, 2 and man will cry out: “What is the matter with her?” 3 on that Day will she recount all her tidings, 4 Because your Lord had inspired her. 5 Upon that day men shall issue in scatterings to see their works, 6 Whoever has done an atom's weight of good, will see it 7 And whoso doeth ill an atom's weight will see it then. 8

True are the words of God the Almighty.
