▼ 8 The Spoils of War
Al-Anfaal 8 of 10

The infidels should not think that they can bypass (the law of God). Surely they cannot get away. 59 And prepare against them what force you can and horses tied at the frontier, to frighten thereby the enemy of Allah and your enemy and others besides them, whom you do not know (but) Allah knows them; and whatever thing you will spend in Allah's way, it will be paid back to you fully and you shall not be dealt with unjustly. 60 ۞ And if they incline to peace, then incline to it and trust in Allah; surely He is the Hearing, the Knowing. 61 But if they intend to deceive you - then sufficient for you is Allah. It is He who supported you with His help and with the believers 62 And (as for the believers) hath attuned their hearts. If thou hadst spent all that is in the earth thou couldst not have attuned their hearts, but Allah hath attuned them. Lo! He is Mighty, Wise. 63 O Prophet, sufficient for you is Allah and for whoever follows you of the believers. 64
