Al-Hijjr 2 of 6

We have set in heaven constellations and decked them out fair to the beholders, 16 And We have guarded it from every Satan damned. 17 Save him who stealeth the hearing, and him there followeth a flame gleaming. 18 And the earth-- We have spread it forth and made in it firm mountains and caused to grow in it of every suitable thing. 19 And We have made in it means of subsistence for you and for him for whom you are not the suppliers. 20 For, no single thing exists that does not have its source with Us; and nought do We bestow from on high unless it be in accordance with a measure well-defined. 21 We send the winds fertilizing, and We send down out of heaven water, from which you drink and you are not its treasurers. 22 It is We who give life and cause things to die and We are the sole Heirs. 23 We know the ones of you who press forward, and We know the laggards; 24 Your Lord will surely gather them together: Certainly He is all-wise and all-knowing. 25
