[AND] the people of Lot gave the lie to [one of God's] message-bearers 160 When their brother Lot said unto them: Will ye not ward off (evil)? 161 “I am indeed a trustworthy Noble Messenger of Allah to you.” 162 Therefore guard against (the punishment of) Allah and obey me: 163 I ask of you no wage for this; my wage is only with the Lord of the Worlds. 164 "Go you in unto the males of the 'Alamin (mankind), 165 "And leave those whom Allah has created for you to be your wives? Nay, you are a trespassing people!" 166 They said: If thou cease not, O Lot, thou wilt soon be of the outcast. 167 He said, "Indeed, I am, toward your deed, of those who detest [it]. 168 "O my Lord! deliver me and my family from such things as they do!" 169 So We saved him and his whole family 170 except an old woman who stayed behind, 171 We then destroyed the others. 172 by pouring upon them a terrible shower of rain. How evil was the rain for those who had been warned! 173 Surely there is a Sign in this, but most of them would not believe. 174 And most surely your Lord is the Mighty, the Merciful. 175

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
