3/4 Hizb 45
< random >
Noah called to Us; and how excellent were the Answerers! 75 And We saved him and his household from the great distress, 76 And We made his descendants those remaining [on the earth] 77 And We let it remain upon him in the latter: 78 Peace be upon Nooh, among the entire people. 79 Indeed, We thus reward the doers of good. 80 Surely he was of Our believing servants. 81 Then We drowned the others 82 ۞ And indeed Ibrahim is from his (Nooh’s) group. 83 When he came to his Lord with a pure heart [attached to Allah Alone and none else, worshipping none but Allah Alone true Islamic Monotheism, pure from the filth of polytheism]. 84 When he said to his father (paternal uncle) and his people, “What do you worship?” 85 Is it falsehood [as] gods other than Allah you desire? 86 Then what is your thought about the Lord of the worlds?" 87 Then he glanced a glance on the stars. 88 and said: 'Surely, I am sick (of what you worship)' 89 But they turned their backs on him and went away. 90 He turned to their gods and said, "Do you not eat? 91 What is the matter with you that you do not speak? 92 And he turned upon them smiting them with his right hand. 93 Thereafter they (the people) came to him in haste. 94 He said: "Worship ye that which ye have (yourselves) carved? 95 "But Allah has created you and your handwork!" 96 They said: build for him a building and cast him into the flaming fire. 97 (This failing), they then sought a stratagem against him, but We made them the ones most humiliated! 98 And [Abraham] said: "Verily, I shall [leave this land and] go wherever my Sustainer will guide me!" 99 “My Lord! Give me a meritorious child.” 100 (In response to this prayer) We gave him the good news of a prudent boy; 101 And, when he (his son) was old enough to walk with him, he said: "O my son! I have seen in a dream that I am slaughtering you (offer you in sacrifice to Allah), so look what you think!" He said: "O my father! Do that which you are commanded, Insha' Allah (if Allah will), you shall find me of As-Sabirin (the patient ones, etc.)." 102 When both surrendered (to Allah's command) and Abraham flung the son down on his forehead, 103 And We called out to him saying: O Ibrahim! 104 "Thou hast already fulfilled the vision!" - thus indeed do We reward those who do right. 105 It was certainly an open trial. 106 And We ransomed him with a momentous sacrifice: 107 And left (his hallowed memory) for posterity. 108 Peace be unto Abraham! 109 Thus do We reward the doers of good 110 For he was one of our believing Servants. 111 And We gave him the good news of Isaac - a prophet,- one of the Righteous. 112 And We blessed him and Is-haq; and of their offspring are some well-doers and some who wrong themselves manifestly. 113
