▼ 56 The Inevitable
Al-Waaqe'ah 3 of 3
۞ Furthermore I call to witness the setting of the Stars,- 75 And most surely it is a very great oath if you only knew; 76 That (this) is indeed an honourable recital (the Noble Quran). 77 in a hidden Book 78 none but the purified shall touch, 79 a revelation from the Sustainer of all the worlds! 80 Then is it to this statement that you are indifferent 81 And make [the thanks for] your provision that you deny [the Provider]? 82 Why, then, when the soul leaps up to the throat, 83 And you are at that time looking on - 84 (And We are nigher him than you, but you do not see Us) 85 why then, if you are not revived, 86 can you not cause that [ebbing life] to return - if what you claim is true? 87 Thus if he is of those brought nigh, 88 there shall be repose and ease, and a Garden of Delight; 89 And if he is of those on the right, – 90 There will be the salutation by those of the right hand: "Peace on you. 91 But if one happens to be of those who are wont to call the truth a lie, and [thus] go astray, 92 Then the welcome will be boiling water 93 and the heat of hell fire. 94 Verily this! this is the very truth. 95 So exalt the name of your Lord, the Most Great. 96
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
