Q (Qaaf)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
Qaf. By the glorious Quran! 1 No, but they marvel that from among themselves a warner has come to them. The unbelievers say (in mockery): 'This is a marvelous thing! 2 "What! When we die and become dust, (shall we live again?) That is a (sort of) return far (from our understanding)." 3 We know all that the earth takes away of them, and a Book of Records is with Us. 4 In fact, they have rejected the truth that has come to them, thus, they live in confusion. 5 Have they not looked at the heaven above them - how We structured it and adorned it and [how] it has no rifts? 6 And the earth- We have spread it out, and set thereon mountains standing firm, and produced therein every kind of beautiful growth (in pairs)- 7 This is a reminder and it sharpens the insight of every servant of God who turns to Him in repentance. 8 We have sent blessed water down from the sky to grow gardens, harvestable crops 9 And tall (and stately) palm-trees, with shoots of fruit-stalks, piled one over another;- 10 as a provision for human beings; and by [all] this We bring dead land to life. Such shall be the Resurrection. 11 Before them was denied (the Hereafter) by the People of Noah, the Companions of the Rass, the Thamud, 12 And the A-ad, and Fir'awn, and the brethren of Lut. 13 and the people of Aykah, and the people of Tubba'. They all gave the lie to the Messengers. Thereafter My threat of chastisement against them was fulfilled. 14 What, were We wearied by the first creation? No, indeed; yet they are in doubt about a new creation. 15
