۞ No! I swear by the fallings of the stars 75 and that is a mighty oath, if you but knew 76 That it is a Recitation honourable. 77 [conveyed unto man] in a well-guarded divine writ 78 which none but the pure may touch; 79 a sending down from the Lord of all the Worlds. 80 Then is it to this statement that you are indifferent 81 Do you make its denial your means of livelihood? 82 Why, then, when the soul of the dying man reaches the throat, 83 and you are watching at that time 84 And We are nearer to him than you are, but you cannot see. 85 Then why is it not-- if you are not held under authority-- 86 Do ye not force it back, if ye are truthful? 87 Thus, then, if he be of those Nearest to Allah, 88 then happiness and delight and Gardens of Bliss are his. 89 And if he is of those on the right, – 90 Then [the angels will say], "Peace for you; [you are] from the companions of the right." 91 But if he is of the rejecters, the erring, 92 there shall be a hospitality of boiling water 93 and the heat of hell fire. 94 Verily, this is the Very Truth and Certainly. 95 So glorify the name of your Great Lord. 96
