Are ye harder to create or the heaven which He hath builded? 27 He lifted up its vault, and levelled it, 28 and darkened its night, and brought forth its forenoon; 29 And the earth! thereafter He stretched it out. 30 He extracted from it its water and its pasture, 31 and has made the mountains firm: 32 all this as provision for you and your cattle. 33 Therefore, when there comes the great, overwhelming (Event),- 34 The day when man will call to mind his (whole) endeavour, 35 and Hell is there for all to see, 36 Those who have rebelled 37 And had preferred the life of this world, 38 Lo! hell will be his home. 39 And as for him who fears to stand in the presence of his Lord and forbids the soul from low desires, 40 paradise will truly be the goal! 41 They will ask you [Prophet] about the Hour, saying, "When it will come to pass?", 42 (Muhammad), you do not know (when and how) it will come. 43 Towards your Lord only is its conclusion. 44 you are but a warner for those who fear it. 45 It will be, on the Day they see it, as though they had not remained [in the world] except for an afternoon or a morning thereof. 46
