The Splitting (Al-Inshiqaaq)
25 verses, revealed in Mecca after Shattering (Al-Infitaar) before The Romans (Al-Room)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
۞ When the sky is torn apart, 1 And hearkens to its Lord and is dutiful, 2 And when the earth is stretched forth, 3 and casts out all that is within and voids itself, 4 And has responded to its Lord and was obligated [to do so] - 5 O human, you are working hard towards your Lord and you will meet Him. 6 Then as for him who is given his book in his right hand, 7 He shall be reckoned with by an easy reckoning, 8 And will return unto his folk in joy. 9 But he who is given his Record behind his back,- 10 He surely will invoke destruction 11 but he will enter the blazing flame. 12 Indeed, he had [once] been among his people in happiness; 13 He assumed that he does not have to return. 14 But he will indeed! His Lord was ever watching him. 15 So by oath of the late evening’s light. 16 And the night and that which it drives on, 17 or by the moon when it is full, 18 Ye shall surely travel from stage to stage. 19 What is the matter with them, that they believe not? 20 And when the Qur’an is recited to them, they do not fall prostrate? (Command of Prostration # 13) ۩ 21 Nay, but those who disbelieve will deny; 22 But God knows what they harbour in their breasts. 23 Wherefore announce thou unto them a torment afflictive. 24 Except for those who believe and do righteous deeds. For them is a reward uninterrupted. 25
Almighty Allah's Truth.

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
