Al-Nesaa 16 of 24
Surely We have revealed the Book to you with the truth that you may judge between people by means of that which Allah has taught you; and be not an advocate on behalf of the treacherous. 105 and pray forgiveness of God; surely God is All-forgiving, All-compassionate. 106 And do not plead on behalf of those who are dishonest to themselves. Surely God does not love one who is treacherous and sinful. 107 They seek to hide themselves from the people, but they do not hide themselves from Allah for He is with them when they hide the saying that does not please Him. Allah encompasses what they do. 108 Pay heed! It is you people who argued on their behalf in the life of this world; so who will fight on their behalf with Allah on the Day of Resurrection, or who will be their pleader? 109 He who does evil or acts against his own interests (by disbelieving), then prays for God's forgiveness, will find God compassionate and merciful. 110 Whosoever earns a sin, he only earns it against himself. Allah is the Knower, the Wise. 111 And anyone who commits an offence or a sin, then charges an innocent person with it, shall certainly bear the guilt of a calumny and a manifest sin. 112
