And We indeed did a great favour to Moosa and Haroon. 114 And delivered them and their people from the great affliction. 115 And We supported them so it was they who overcame. 116 We granted them a Clear Book, 117 and guided them upon the Straight Path. 118 And We left for them among the later folk (the salutation): 119 "Peace be upon Moses and Aaron!" 120 Indeed, We thus reward the doers of good. 121 Verily! They were two of Our believing slaves. 122 And Ilyas was most surely of the apostles. 123 when he said to his people, 'Will you not be godfearing? 124 Do you call upon Ba'l and leave the best of creators - 125 "Allah, your Lord and the Lord of your forefathers?" 126 But they denied him, so they surely will be haled forth (to the doom) 127 Except the sincere and devoted Servants of Allah (among them). 128 We perpetuated his praise in the later generations. 129 Peace be unto Elyasin. 130 Even so We recompense the good-doers; 131 Surely he was one of Our believing servants. 132 Lot too was one of the Envoys; 133 We saved him and all his people, 134 except an old woman who lingered, 135 and then We utterly destroyed the others: 136 You pass by their ruins morning 137 and at night. Will you then not understand? 138
