Al-A 'araaf 8 of 24

And We sent Noah to his people; and he said, 'O my people, serve God! You have no god other' than He; truly, I fear for you the chastisement of a dreadful day.' 59 The elders of his people replied: "We see clearly that you have gone astray." 60 'I am not in error, my nation' he replied. 'I am a Messenger from the Lord of the Worlds 61 (sent) to convey to you the messages of my Lord and to advise you, for I know from Allah what you do not know. 62 Then do you wonder that there has come to you a reminder from your Lord through a man from among you, that he may warn you and that you may fear Allah so you might receive mercy." 63 But they rejected him, and We delivered him, and those with him, in the Ark: but We overwhelmed in the flood those who rejected Our signs. They were indeed a blind people! 64
