The people of Noah also rejected the messengers. 105 span class="col">Their brother Noah asked them, "Why do you not fear God? 106 Verily I am unto you an apostle trusted. 107 fear God, and obey me. 108 And I ask of you no hire therefor; my hire is but with the Lord of the worlds. 109 "So keep your duty to Allah, fear Him and obey me." 110 ۞ They said: Shall we believe in you while the meanest follow you? 111 He said: And what knowledge have I of what they do? 112 Their account falls only upon my Lord, were you but aware. 113 And I am not one to drive away the believers. 114 I am only a plain warner." 115 They said, "Noah, if you do not desist, you will be stoned." 116 He said: "O my Lord! truly my people have rejected me. 117 Judge among us and save me and the believers with me". 118 So We saved him and those with him in a laden ship. 119 then afterwards We drowned the rest. 120 Verily there is a sign in this, yet many of them do not believe. 121 Verily Your Lord is Immensely Mighty, Ever Compassionate. 122
