Say, [O Muhammad], "I only invoke my Lord and do not associate with Him anyone." 20 Say: 'Surely I possess no power over you, either for hurt or for rectitude.' 21 Say, "No one can protect me from God, nor can I find any place of refuge but with him. 22 My duty is only to convey that which I receive from Him and His messages." For those who disobey God and His Messenger there is the fire of hell, wherein they will abide forever. 23 Until when they see what they are threatened with, then shall they know who is weaker in helpers and fewer in number. 24 Say: “I know not whether what you are promised is near or whether my Lord will prolong its term. 25 The Knower of the unseen! so He does not reveal His secrets to any, 26 "Except a messenger whom He has chosen: and then He makes a band of watchers march before him and behind him, 27 (Messenger) so that He would know that the Messengers have conveyed the message of their Lord. He encompasses all that is with them and He keeps a precise account of all things". 28
