Tell them, (O Prophet): “I am nothing but a warner. There is no deity but Allah, the One, the Supreme, 65 Lord of the heavens and the earth and whatever is between them, the Exalted in Might, the Perpetual Forgiver." 66 Say: 'This is a mighty message 67 From which you turn away. 68 (Tell them): “I had no knowledge of the High Council when they were disputing. 69 This alone is revealed to me, that I am only a clear warner.' 70 When your Lord said to the angels; Surely I am going to create a mortal from dust: 71 When I have shaped him, and breathed My spirit in him, fall you down, bowing before him!' 72 So all the angels prostrated themselves 73 except Iblis. He waxed proud and became one of the unbelievers. 74 Said He, 'Iblis, what prevented thee to bow thyself before that I created with My own hands? Hast thou waxed proud, or art thou of the lofty ones?' 75 He said: I am better than him. Thou createdst me of fire, whilst him Thou didst create of clay. 76 Said He, 'Then go thou forth hence; thou art accursed. 77 And indeed, upon you is My curse until the Day of Recompense." 78 He said, "My Lord, then reprieve me until the Day they are resurrected." 79 The Lord said, "You will only be given a respite 80 Till the appointed day." 81 [Iblees] said, "By your might, I will surely mislead them all 82 "Except Thy Servants amongst them, sincere and purified (by Thy Grace)." 83 [And God] said: "This, then, is the truth! And this truth do I state: 84 I will fill up Hell with you together with those who follow you." 85 Say: 'I ask of you no wage for it, neither am I of those who take things upon themselves. 86 It, (the Quran), is nothing but a reminder to you from the Lord of the Universe. 87 And ye shall surely come to know the truth thereof after a season. 88
