Al-Baqarah 5 of 40

O Children of Israel! call to mind the (special) favour which I bestowed upon you, and fulfil your covenant with Me as I fulfil My Covenant with you, and fear none but Me. 40 And believe in that I have sent down, confirming that which is with you, and be not the first to disbelieve in it. And sell not My signs for a little price; and fear you Me. 41 Do not confound truth with falsehood, nor knowingly hide the truth while you know. 42 Be firm in devotion; give zakat (the due share of your wealth for the welfare of others), and bow with those who bow (before God). 43 ۞ Would you order people to do good deeds and forget to do them yourselves even though you read the Book? Why do you not think? 44 And seek help through patience and prayer, and indeed, it is difficult except for the humbly submissive [to Allah] 45 who realize that ultimately they shall meet their Lord and shall return to Him. 46
