Al-A 'araaf 8 of 24

Indeed We sent forth Noah to his people and he said: 'O my people! Serve Allah, you have no other god than Him Indeed I fear for you the chastisement of an awesome Day.' 59 The leaders of his people said: "Verily, we see you in plain error." 60 He said: 'O my people! There is no error in me, but I am a Messenger from the Lord of the universe. 61 (sent) to convey to you the messages of my Lord and to advise you, for I know from Allah what you do not know. 62 Do you wonder that a warning has come to you from your Lord through a man who is one of you, and warns you to take heed for yourselves and fear God? You might be treated with mercy." 63 They accused him of telling lies. So We saved him and his companions in an ark and drowned those who called Our revelations mere lies. They were, no doubt, a blind people. 64
