O (you) Messengers! Eat of the Taiyibat [all kinds of Halal (legal) foods which Allah has made legal (meat of slaughtered eatable animals, milk products, fats, vegetables, fruits, etc.)], and do righteous deeds. Verily! I am Well-Acquainted with what you do. 51 And surely this your religion is one religion and I am your Lord, therefore be careful (of your duty) to Me. 52 But they cut off their religion among themselves into sects, each part rejoicing in that which is with them. 53 So leave thou them in their perplexity for a time. 54 Do they think that We enlarge them in wealth and children, 55 We hasten unto them with good things? Nay, but they perceive not. 56 Surely those who stand in awe for fear of their Lord, 57 Who believe in their Lord's revelations, 58 who associate none with their Lord, 59 who spend their property for the cause of God, and whose hearts are afraid of their return 60 These people hasten to perform goodness, and it is they who shall reach it first. 61 We do not lay a burden on anyone beyond his capacity. We have a Book with Us that speaks the truth (about everyone); and they shall in no wise be wronged. 62 Aye! their hearts are in bewilderment in respect thereof, and they have works beside that, of which they are workers. 63 until We seize with Our chastisement those of them that are given to luxuriant ways. They will then begin to groan. 64 Implore not today; verily ye from Us are not to be succoured. 65 My revelations were recited unto you, but ye used to turn back on your heels, 66 Insolently, treating them like tales told at night." 67 Then have they not reflected over the Qur'an, or has there come to them that which had not come to their forefathers? 68 Or is it that they did not recognize their Messenger (Muhammad SAW) so they deny him? 69 Or do they say: "There is madness in him"? Nay, he has brought them the truth - and the truth do most of them detest! 70 But if the Truth had followed their inclinations, the heavens and the earth and whoever is in them would have been ruined. Rather, We have brought them their message, but they, from their message, are turning away. 71 Or, is it that thou askest of them any maintenance? The maintenance of thy Lord is better, and He is the Best of providers. 72 You are calling them to a Straight Way, 73 And most surely those who do not believe in the hereafter are deviating from the way. 74 ۞ And though We have mercy on them We may remove whatsoever of hurt is with them, surely they would persist in their exorbitance, wandering perplexed. 75 Already have We grasped them with punishment, but they humble not themselves unto their Lord, nor do they pray, 76 until, when We open against them a door of terrible chastisement, lo, they are sore confounded at it. 77
