3/4 Hizb 45

And indeed, [it was for this reason that] Noah cried unto Us - and how excellent was Our response: 75 And We rescued him and his household from the great calamity. 76 and We made his seed the survivors, 77 And left for him [favorable mention] among later generations: 78 "Peace upon Noah among the worlds." 79 That is how We recompense the righteous: 80 Verily, he [Nuh (Noah)] was one of Our believing slaves. 81 Afterwards We drowned the others. 82 ۞ Abraham was of the same faith: 83 When he came to his Lord with a pure heart [attached to Allah Alone and none else, worshipping none but Allah Alone true Islamic Monotheism, pure from the filth of polytheism]. 84 when he said to his father and his folk, 'What do you serve? 85 “What! You desire, through fabrication, Gods other than Allah?” 86 What do you imagine the Lord of the worlds to be?" 87 He cast a glance at the stars 88 Then he said: Surely I am sick (of your worshipping these). 89 and at that they turned their backs on him and went away. 90 Thereupon he approached their gods stealthily and said, "What! You do not eat [of the offerings placed before you]? 91 What is the matter with you that you do not speak?" 92 And he turned upon them smiting them with his right hand. 93 So the people descended upon him. 94 He said: Worship ye that which ye yourselves do carve 95 When Allah hath created you and what ye make? 96 They spoke among themselves: “Build him a pyre and then throw him into the furnace.” 97 Their desire was to outwit him, but We made them to be the humiliated. 98 He said: 'I will go to my Lord; He will guide me. 99 My Lord! Vouchsafe me of the righteous. 100 So We gave him the good news of a clement son. 101 When his son was old enough to work with him, he said, "My son, I have had a dream that I must sacrifice you. What do you think of this?" He replied, "Father, fulfill whatever you are commanded to do and you will find me patient, by the will of God". 102 When both surrendered (to Allah's command) and Abraham flung the son down on his forehead, 103 We called to him, "O Abraham, 104 You have fulfilled the dream (vision)!" Verily! Thus do We reward the Muhsinun (good-doers - see V. 2:112). 105 Lo! that verily was a clear test. 106 So, We ransomed him with a mighty sacrifice, 107 and We let it (the beautiful praise) remain upon him in the latter (generations), 108 Peace be unto Ibrahim: 109 That is how We reward those who do good. 110 He was one of Our believing servants. 111 And We gave him the good news of Isaac, a Prophet and among the righteous ones. 112 And We showered Our blessings on him and on Ishaq; and of their offspring are the doers of good, and (also) those who are clearly unjust to their own souls. 113
