Lo, the Tree of Ez-Zakkoum 43 shall be food for the sinners: 44 Like molten copper; it churns in their bellies. 45 like boiling water. 46 'Seize him and drag him into the center of Hell. 47 Then pour over his head from the torment of scalding water." 48 (Saying): Taste! Lo! thou wast forsooth the mighty, the noble! 49 This is the torment that you persistently doubted". 50 Verily! The Muttaqun (pious - see V. 2:2), will be in place of Security (Paradise). 51 among gardens and fountains, 52 dressed in silks and brocade, set face to face. 53 Even so. And We shall pair them with fair damsels large-eyed. 54 They call therein for every fruit in safety. 55 There they shall not taste death, except the first death, and He will shield them from the punishment of Hell, 56 A grace from your Lord; this is the great achievement. 57 THUS, THEN, [O Prophet,] have We made this [divine writ] easy to understand, in thine own [human] tongue, so that men might take it to heart. 58 Wait then (O Muhammad). Lo! they (too) are waiting. 59
