The Elephant (Al-Feel)

5 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon) before Daybreak (Al-Falaq)

In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful

Have you not seen how your Lord dealt with the people of the elephant? 1 Did He not cause their war to end in confusion, 2 Thus, He let loose upon them great swarms of flying creatures 3 (While) you were pelting them with stones of porphyritic lava, 4 And made them like an empty field of stalks (of which the corn has been eaten up by cattle). 5

God the Almighty always says the truth.
