The people of Lot rejected the Messengers, branding them liars. 160 when their brother Lot said to them, 'Will you not be godfearing? 161 Verily I am unto you an apostle trusted. 162 So fear Allah, and obey me. 163 "No reward do I ask of you for it (my Message of Islamic Monotheism), my reward is only from the Lord of the 'Alamin (mankind, jinns and all that exists). 164 "Of all the creatures in the world, will ye approach males, 165 instead of your wives, whom your Lord has created specially for you? You are a transgressing people." 166 They said: "If you cease not. O Lout (Lot)! Verily, you will be one of those who are driven out!" 167 He said, 'Truly I am a detester of what you do. 168 'My Lord, save me and my people from that they are doing' 169 So We delivered him and his followers all, 170 Except one old woman, who stayed behind. 171 We then destroyed the others. 172 and We rained on them a rain; and evil is the rain of them that are warned. 173 Verily in this is a Sign: but most of them do not believe. 174 And indeed your Lord – only He is the Almighty, the Most Merciful. 175
