We certainly bestowed Our favor upon Moses and Aaron 114 And saved them and their people from the great distress, 115 We helped them, and they became victorious, 116 And We gave them the clear Scripture; 117 And We guided them both on the right way. 118 and preserved for them a good name among posterity. 119 Peace be upon Moosa and Haroon! 120 Lo! thus do We reward the good. 121 For they were two of our believing Servants. 122 Elias too was one of the Envoys; 123 He told his people, "Why do you not have fear of God? 124 "Will ye call upon Baal and forsake the Best of Creators,- 125 who is your Lord and the Lord of your forefathers?" 126 And they denied him, so indeed, they will be brought [for punishment], 127 Except the chosen bondmen of Allah. 128 And We perpetuated to him (praise) among the later generations. 129 Peace be with the followers of Elias. 130 Lo! thus do We reward the good. 131 for he was truly one of Our believing servants! 132 Lot too was one of the Envoys; 133 when We delivered him and his people all together, 134 save an old woman among those that tarried; 135 Then We destroyed the others. 136 You pass by (their habitations) in the morning 137 Or at night. Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
