Nay! By the moon 32 And by oath of the night when it turns back. 33 and the dawn when it is white, 34 Indeed, the Fire is of the greatest [afflictions] 35 As a warning to humanity - 36 For the one among you who wishes to come forward or stay back. 37 Every soul will be (held) in pledge for its deeds. 38 save those who shall have attained to righteousness: 39 Sitting in the gardens, asking 40 concerning the sinners, 41 [And asking them], "What put you into Saqar?" 42 and they shall reply, "We were not among those who prayed; 43 "Nor we used to feed Al-Miskin (the poor); 44 and we plunged along with the plungers, 45 And we have been belying the Day of Requital. 46 till the certainty (death) overtook us' 47 So the intercession of the intercessors will not benefit them. (The disbelievers will not have any intercessor.) 48 So what is the matter with them that they turn away from the advice? 49 As though they were asses startled. 50 fleeing before a lion? 51 Is it that everyone of them wants to receive a heavenly book addressed to him personally? 52 No indeed; but they do not fear the Hereafter. 53 Nay, verily, this is an admonition 54 so whoever wills shall remember it. 55 And they shall not heed unless Allah willeth. He is the Lord of piety, and the Lord of forgiveness. 56
