Hoarding (Al-Takaathur)

8 verses, revealed in Mecca after Bounty (Al-Kawthar) before Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful

The mutual rivalry for piling up (the good things of this world) diverts you (from the more serious things), 1 until you visit the graves. 2 But you will soon come to know. 3 You shall cetainly know (about the consequences of your deeds). 4 Indeed, were you to know the truth with certainty, 5 You will be shown hell 6 You would see it with the eye of certainty. 7 On that Day, you shall be questioned about the pleasures. 8

Almighty Allah's Truth.
