The People of the Woods denied the Noble Messengers. 176 When Shu'ayb said to them, "Will you not fear Allah? 177 I am a trustworthy Messenger to you. 178 I ask of you no wage for this; 179 "And no reward whatever do I ask of you for it: my reward rests with none but the Sustainer of all the worlds. 180 ۞ “Measure in full, and do not be of those who reduce.” 181 Weigh your goods with proper balance 182 And do not wrong men of their things, and do not act corruptly in the earth, making mischief. 183 “And fear Him Who created you and the earlier creations.” 184 They replied: 'You are surely one of those bewitched. 185 “You are just a human like us, and indeed we consider you a liar.” 186 Then make fragments of the heaven fall upon us, if thou art of the truthful. 187 He said: 'My Lord knows what you are doing' 188 Then they branded him a liar, whereupon the chastisement of the Day of Canopy overtook them. It was the chastisement of a very awesome day. 189 In this there is an evidence of the Truth, but many of them did not have any faith. 190 And verily thy Lord is He, the Exalted in Might, Most Merciful. 191
