Nay; I swear by the moon, 32 And by the night when it withdraws, 33 by the brightening dawn, 34 Lo! this is one of the greatest (portents) 35 It is a warning for mankind 36 to everyone of you, whether he chooses to come forward or to hang back! 37 Every soul will be a pledge for that which it hath earned, 38 except the people of the right hand 39 In Gardens they will question 40 Concerning the guilty: 41 "What has brought you into the Fire of Hell ?" 42 They will say: "We were not of those who prayed; 43 and we did not feed the poor, 44 we indulged in vain arguments along with those who indulged in them; 45 and the Day of Judgment we were wont to call a lie 46 until the Inevitable End [death] overtook us." 47 So no intercession of intercessors will be of any use to them. 48 Why then do they turn away from the admonition 49 like frightened donkeys 50 Fleeing from a lion? 51 Aye! every one of them desireth that: he should be vouchsafed scrolls expanded. 52 Nay! but they do not fear the hereafter. 53 Nay, verily, this is an admonition 54 and whoever wills may take it to heart. 55 But they will not benefit from it unless Allah Himself so wills. He is worthy to be feared; and He is worthy to forgive (those that fear Him). 56
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
