Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ When the heavens are rent asunder, 1 when the stars are scattered, 2 And when the seas are flowed out, 3 when the graves are overturned, 4 A soul will know what it hath sent before (it) and what left behind. 5 Human being, what evil has deceived you about your Gracious Lord, 6 who created you, fashioned you and proportioned you, 7 Into whatever form He pleased He constituted you. 8 Nay! but you give the lie to the judgment day, 9 you do so the while there are watchers over you; 10 The honourable recorders. 11 who know what you do. 12 Surely the pious shall be in bliss, 13 And the Wicked - they will be in the Fire, 14 They will burn in it on the Day of Judgement, 15 and then shall never come out of it. 16 And what could make thee conceive what that Judgment Day will be? 17 Again: what will make you realize what the Day of Judgement will be? 18 A day when no soul shall possess aught to succour another soul; that day the Command shall belong unto God. 19
