The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)
8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
WHEN THE EARTH quakes with her [last] mighty quaking, 1 And the earth throws out its burdens, 2 and man will cry out: “What is the matter with her?” 3 on that Day will she recount all her tidings, 4 as thy Sustainer will have inspired her to do! 5 On that day, people will come out of their graves in different groups to see (the results of) their own deeds. 6 And so, he who shall have done an atom's weight of good, shall behold it; 7 And whoever does an atom's weight of evil will see it. 8
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
