Al-Hijjr 2 of 6
And indeed We created towers in the skies, and beautified it for the beholders. 16 And (moreover) We have guarded them from every cursed devil: 17 Except one who steals a hearing and is pursued by a clear burning flame. 18 And the earth -- We stretched it forth, and cast on it firm mountains, and We caused to grow therein of every thing justly weighed, 19 And We have provided therein means of subsistence,- for you and for those for whose sustenance ye are not responsible. 20 And there is not a thing the treasure* of which is not with Us; and We do not send it down except by a known measure. (* The power to create it.) 21 And We let loose the winds to fertilize [plants] and We send down water from the skies and let you drink thereof: and it is not you who dispose of its source 22 And verily We! it is We who give life and death, and We shall be the survivors. 23 We surely know those of you who go forward and those of you who lag behind. 24 Indeed your Lord will gather them all together. Surely He is All-Wise, All-Knowing. 25
