The Poets (Alshu'araa')

In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

۞ Ta-Sin-Mim. 1 These are the verses of the illustrious Book. 2 Wouldst thou, perhaps, torment thyself to death [with grief] because they [who live around thee] refuse to believe [in it]? 3 If We will, We can send down on them a sign from heaven before which their necks will remain humbled. 4 And there does not come to them a new reminder from the Beneficent Allah but they turn aside from it. 5 So, they belied, but surely the tidings of that they mocked will come to them. 6 Do they not see the earth, how many of every noble kind We have caused to grow in it? 7 Surely in this there is a sign, yet most of them would not believe: 8 truly, your Lord is the Mighty One, the Merciful. 9
