When Your Lord told Moses to go to the unjust people of the Pharaoh 10 the people of Pharaoh: do they have no fear?" 11 He said: O my Lord! surely I fear that they will reject me; 12 and my chest will become constricted and my tongue will not be loosed (in my speech), therefore, send to Aaron. 13 Moreover, they keep a grave charge [pending] against me, and I fear that they will slay me." 14 [Allah] said, "No. Go both of you with Our signs; indeed, We are with you, listening. 15 “Therefore approach Firaun then proclaim, ‘We both are Noble Messengers of the Lord Of The Creation.’ 16 "'Send thou with us the Children of Israel.'" 17 The Pharaoh said, "Did we not bring you up in our home as an infant and did you not live with us for many years 18 And you commited what you did, and you are ungrateful!" 19 He said: I did it then when I was mistaken. 20 so I fled from you, fearing you. But my Lord gave me Judgment and made me one of the Envoys. 21 That is a blessing thou reproachest me with, having enslaved the Children of Israel.' 22 Pharaoh said, "What is this: Lord of the Universe?" 23 (Moses) said: "The Lord of the heavens and the earth and all that lies between them, if you can believe." 24 Fir'awn said unto those around him: hear ye not? 25 Moses said: "(He is) Your Lord and the Lord of your forefathers of yore." 26 [Pharaoh] exclaimed: "Behold, [this] your 'apostle' who [claims that he] has been sent unto you is mad indeed! 27 Moses continued: "(He is) the Lord of the east and the west, and all between them. If you only had any understanding!" 28 (The Pharaoh) said: "If you took another god apart from me I will have you incarcerated." 29 Moses said: "Even if I were to bring a Clear Sign to you?" 30 [Pharaoh] said, "Then bring it, if you should be of the truthful." 31 Moses threw his staff and suddenly it became a serpent. 32 And he drew forth his hand, and lo, it looked white to the beholders. 33
