We were indeed gracious to Moses and Aaron, 114 and We delivered both of them and their people from the great calamity. 115 We helped them and they were victorious. 116 We granted them a Clear Book, 117 And We guided them on the straight path. 118 and left them thus to be remembered among later generations: 119 Salamun (peace) be upon Musa (Moses) and Harun (Aaron)!" 120 This is how We reward the virtuous. 121 They were two of Our believing servants. 122 And verily, llyas was one of the sent ones. 123 He asked his people: 'Do you not fear (Allah)? 124 Do you call on Baal, and abandon the Best of creators? 125 God, your Sustainer and the Sustainer of your forebears of old?" 126 But they denounced him as a liar, so they will surely be arraigned (for punishment), 127 Except the chosen slaves of Allah. 128 We perpetuated his praise in the later generations. 129 Peace be upon Elias. 130 Indeed, We thus reward the doers of good. 131 Verily, he was one of Our believing slaves. 132 Lot, too, was among the Messengers. 133 When We saved him and his household, every one, 134 except for an old woman who stayed behind, 135 then We destroyed the others, 136 You pass by their desolate habitations in the morning 137 and at night.
