NOW THOSE who are bent on denying the truth say [unto one another]: "Do not listen to this Qur'an, but rather talk frivolously about it, so that you might gain the upper hand!" 26 But verily We shall cause those who disbelieve to taste an awful doom, and verily We shall requite them the worst of what they used to do. 27 That is the meed of the enemies of Allah: the Fire. Therein is their home of abidance: a meed forasmuch as Our revelations they were wont to gainsay. 28 Those who deny the truth will say, "Our Lord, show us those jinn and men who misled us and we shall trample them underfoot, so that they may be among the lowest of the low." 29 Those who say “Allah is our Lord” and then remain steadfast, upon them descend angels (and say): “Do not fear nor grieve, and receive good tidings of Paradise which you were promised. 30 We are your protecting friends in the life of the world and in the Hereafter. There ye will have (all) that your souls desire, and there ye will have (all) for which ye pray. 31 As a gift from the forgiving, ever-merciful (God)." 32
