Al-Taareq
The Comet (Al-Taareq)
17 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Town (Al-Balad) before The Moon (Al-Qamar)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By the sky and the night comer - 1 and what could make you know what it is that comes in the night? 2 The very brightly shining star! 3 For every soul there is a watcher. 4 So let man see from what he is created! 5 He is created from a drop emitted- 6 emanating from between the loins and the ribs. 7 Surely, He is Able to bring him back, 8 On the day when all secrets will be made public, 9 Then will he have no might nor any helper. 10 By the Firmament which returns (in its round), 11 and the earth, bursting forth with plants! 12 Verily! This (the Quran) is the Word that separates (the truth from falsehood, and commands strict legal laws for mankind to cut the roots of evil). 13 it is no merriment. 14 They are devising guile, 15 but I shall bring all their scheming to nought. 16 So give a respite to the disbelievers. Deal thou gently with them for a while. 17
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
