Al-A 'araaf 8 of 24

We sent Noah to his people. He told them, "Worship God for He is your only Lord. I am afraid of the punishment that you might suffer on the great Day (of Judgment)". 59 The great ones among his people replied: "Verily, we see that thou art obviously lost in error!" 60 Said [Noah]: "O my people! There is no error in me, but I am an apostle from the Sustainer of all the worlds. 61 I deliver to you the messages of my Lord, and I offer you good advice and I know from Allah what you do not know. 62 What, do you wonder that a reminder from your Lord should come to you by the lips of a man from among you? That he may warn you, and you be godfearing, haply to find mercy.' 63 But they cried him lies; so We delivered him, and those with him, in the Ark, and We drowned those who cried lies to Our signs; assuredly they were a blind people. 64
