Al-Hijjr 6 of 6
The people of Al-Hijr denied Our apostles; 80 And we gave them Our revelations, but they were averse to them. 81 They would carve secure houses out of the mountains. 82 and the Cry seized them in the morning; 83 So nothing availed them [from] what they used to earn. 84 We have not created the heavens and the earth and all that is in between them except with Truth. Surely the Hour will come. So, (O Muhammad), do graciously overlook them (despite their misdeeds). 85 Surely thy Lord, He is the All-creator, the All-knowing. 86 And assuredly We have vouchsafed unto thee seven of the repetitions and the mighty Qur'an. 87 Strain not thine eyes toward that which We cause some wedded pairs among them to enjoin, and be not grieved on their account, and lower thy wing (in tenderness) for the believers. 88 and clearly tell the unbelievers: "I am most certainly a plain warner," 89 As We have sent down on the dividers, (Quraish pagans or Jews and Christians). 90 Those who have made the scripture bits. 91 so by your Lord, We will question them all 92 For that which they have been working. 93 Hence, proclaim openly all that thou hast been bidden [to say,] and leave alone all those who ascribe divinity to aught beside God: 94 Verily We will suffice unto thee against the mockers. 95 Who set up along with Allah another god; presently they shall know. 96 And We already know that your breast is constrained by what they say. 97 So glorify the praises of your Lord and be of those who prostrate themselves (to Him). 98 And keep worshipping your Lord, till death* comes to you. (* The certainty.) 99
True are the words of God the Almighty.

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
