They ask thee concerning the Mountains: say, "My Lord will uproot them and scatter them as dust; 105 and leave the earths level and bare, 106 with neither crookedness nor any curving to be seen therein' 107 On that Day, they will follow the Summoner, who is not crooked, their voices hushed before the Merciful, and you shall hear nothing except a murmuring. 108 Upon that day the intercession will not profit, save for him to whom the All-merciful gives leave, and whose speech He approves. 109 He knows what (appears to His creatures as) before or after or behind them: but they shall not compass it with their knowledge. 110 ۞ And faces shall be humbled unto the Living, the Eternal. He will have failed whose burden is of evildoing; 111 but whosoever does righteous works, being a believer, shall have no fear of suffering wrong or loss." 112 And thus We have sent it down, an Arabic Recitation, and have propounded variously therein of the threats, that haply they may fear, or that it may generate in them some admonition. 113 Exalted then be God, the real King; and do not try to anticipate the Qur'an before the completion of its revelation, but pray: "O Lord, give me greater knowledge." 114 And We had already taken a promise from Adam before, but he forgot; and We found not in him determination. 115
