We have made the heavens with Our own hands and We expanded it. 47 And We made the earth a base, so how well do We lay out! 48 And of everything created We two kinds; haply you will remember. 49 Flee therefore unto Allah; verily I am unto you from Him a warner manifest. 50 and do not set up any deity with Allah. Surely I am a clear warner to you from Him. 51 Thus has it been (in the past): never did a Messenger come to the nations that preceded them but they said: “(He is) a sorcerer, or a mad-man.” 52 What, have they bequeathed it one to another? Nay, but they are an insolent people. 53 So withdraw from them (O Muhammad), for thou art in no wise blameworthy, 54 And remind; the Reminder profits the believers. 55 I have not created the jinns and men but to worship Me. 56 I desire from them no provision, nor do I want them to feed Me. 57 for, verily, God Himself is the Provider of all sustenance, the Lord of all might, the Eternal! 58 The evildoers shall have their portion, like the portion of their fellows; so let them not hasten Me! 59 Woe to the disbelievers when the day with which they have been threatened comes! 60
