Have you considered he who turns his back, 33 who gave a little, and then stopped? 34 Does he have any knowledge of the world beyond the ken of sense-perception, and therefore, clearly sees (the Truth)? 35 Or, has he not been told of that which is in the Scrolls of Moses 36 And (of) Ibrahim who fulfilled (the commandments): 37 That no burdened person (with sins) shall bear the burden (sins) of another. 38 That man can have nothing but what he strives for; 39 And that his effort will be seen. 40 and that he shall then be fully recompensed, 41 And that to your Lord is the goal- 42 and that it is He alone who causes [you] to laugh and to weep; 43 And that it is He who causes death and gives life 44 And that He createth the pair, the male and the female. 45 of a sperm-drop, when it was cast forth, 46 and that upon Him is the second creation 47 that it is He who gives wealth and possessions; 48 And that He is the Lord of the Sirius; 49 and that He destroyed Ad, the ancient, 50 And Thamud (people). He spared none of them. 51 And the people of Noah before. Indeed, it was they who were [even] more unjust and oppressing. 52 just as He thrust into perdition those cities that were overthrown 53 So that (ruins unknown) have covered them up. 54 About which of the bounties of your Lord can they persistently dispute? 55 This is a (Prophet) like that of the ancient warners (Prophets). 56 The Imminent is near at hand; 57 There is no one to unveil it apart from God. 58 Do you, perchance, find this tiding strange? 59 And will you laugh and not weep? 60 and divert yourselves all the while? 61 Prostrate yourselves before Allah, and serve Him. ۩ 62
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
