What! Are ye the more difficult to create or the heaven (above)? (Allah) hath constructed it: 27 He hath raised the height thereof and perfected it. 28 Its night doth He endow with darkness, and its splendour doth He bring out (with light). 29 And the earth He extended after that; 30 And from it produced its water and its pasture. 31 then set-up firmly the mountains. 32 [all this] as a means of sustenance for you and your animals? 33 So when the greatest universal disaster arrives, 34 the Day when the human will remember what he has worked for, 35 And the Scorch will be made apparent to any one who beholdeth. 36 So as for he who transgressed 37 And preferred the life of the world, 38 that blazing fire will truly be the goal! 39 But he who feared to stand before his Lord, and restrained himself from evil desires, 40 Then indeed Paradise only is his destination. 41 They ask thee about the Hour,-'When will be its appointed time? 42 [But] how couldst thou tell anything about it, 43 Towards your Lord only is its conclusion. 44 you are but a warner for those who fear it. 45 It shall be as if; on the day they see it, they have but tarried for an evening, or its forenoon. 46
