Al-A'alaa
The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ Magnify the Name of thy Lord the Most High 1 Who createth, then disposeth; 2 And Who hath disposed and then guided, 3 And Who brings out the pasturage, 4 then turns it into black stubble. 5 We shall make you to recite (the Quran), so you (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) shall not forget (it), 6 Save that which Allah willeth. Lo! He knoweth the disclosed and that which still is hidden; 7 We shall take you slowly towards ease. 8 Therefore, keep on preaching as long as it is of benefit. 9 Those who have fear of God will benefit 10 And the most wicked will stay away from it. 11 He will be cast into the Great Fire. 12 in which he will neither die nor live therein. 13 He who purified himself shall prosper, 14 and remembers the Name of his Lord, so he prays. 15 Nay! you prefer the life of this world, 16 But the Hereafter is better and more enduring. 17 Indeed, this is in the former scriptures, 18 The scriptures of Ibrahim and Musa. 19
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
