Behold, the hypocrites seek to deceive God - the while it is He who causes them to be deceived [by themselves] And when they rise to pray, they rise reluctantly, only to be seen and praised by men, remembering God but seldom, 142 (They are) swaying between this and that, belonging neither to these nor to those, and he whom Allah sends astray, you will not find for him a way (to the truth - Islam). 143 Believers, do not take the unbelievers for guides instead of the believers, or do you desire to give Allah a clear authority over you? 144 Verily, the hyprocrites will be in the lowest depths (grade) of the Fire; no helper will you find for them. 145 Except those who repented and reformed themselves and held fast to Allah’s rope and made their religion sincerely only for Allah – so they are with the Muslims; and Allah will soon bestow upon the believers a great reward. 146 What would God do with chastising you if you are thankful, and believe? God is All-thankful, All-knowing. 147 ۞ God does not love the utterance of evil words except in the case of someone who has been wronged. God hears all and knows all. 148 Whether you reveal any good or hide it, or pardon any evil, God is forgiving and all powerful. 149 Verily those who disbelieve in Allah and His apostles, and would differentiate between Allah, and His apostles, and say: some we believe in and others we deny; and they would take a way in between this and that. 150 it is they, they who are truly denying the truth: and for those who deny the truth We have readied shameful suffering. 151 For those who believe in Allah and His Messengers, and do not differentiate between them, We shall certainly give them their reward.
