Allah it is Who hath appointed for you the night that ye may repose therein, and the day enlightening. Verily Allah is the Lord of Grace for mankind; but most of mankind return not thanks. 61 Such is God, your Sustainer, the Creator of all that exists: there is no deity save Him. How perverted, then, are your minds! 62 Thus are deluded those who are wont to reject the Signs of Allah. 63 It is God who made for you the earth a fixed place and heaven for an edifice; And He shaped you, and shaped you well, and provided you with the good things. That then is God, your Lord, so blessed be God, the Lord of all Being. 64 He is the Living One; there is no god but He. So call upon Him, making your religion His sincerely. Praise belongs to God, the Lord of all Being. 65 ۞ Say, "I have been forbidden to invoke those whom you invoke besides God -- seeing that clear signs have come to me from my Lord; and I have been commanded to submit to the Lord of the Universe." 66 It is He who created you from dust, then from a drop of fluid, then from a tiny, clinging form, then He brought you forth as infants, then He allowed you to reach maturity, then He let you grow old, though some of you die sooner, and reach your appointed term so that you may reflect. 67 He it is Who quickeneth and giveth death. When He ordaineth a thing, He saith unto it only: Be! and it is. 68
