Q (Qaaf)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
Qaaf. By the Glorious Koran! 1 But they wonder that there has come to them a Warner from among themselves. So the Unbelievers say: "This is a wonderful thing! 2 When we are dead and turned to dust, this returning (to life) is most far-fetched." 3 We already know how much of them (of their bodies) the earth will consume. With Us there is a Book that contains all records. 4 They gave the lie to the Truth when it came to them. So they are now in a state of great perplexity. 5 What, have they not beheld heaven above them, how We have built it, and decked it out fair, and it has no cracks? 6 and We have spread out the earth, and have set upon it firm mountains, and have caused it to bring out plants of all beauteous kinds? 7 As instruction and reminder to every penitent creature. 8 We have sent blessed water down from the sky to grow gardens, harvestable crops 9 And tall date-palms laden with clusters ranged. 10 Provision (made) for men; and therewith We quicken a dead land. Even so will be the resurrection of the dead. 11 Cried lies before them the people of Noah and the men of Er-Rass, and Thamood, 12 And Ad and Firon and Lut's brethren, 13 And the dwellers of the Wood and people of Tubba'. Each of them denied the apostles. So My threat became a reality. 14 Were We then tired with the first creation? Nay, They are in confused doubt about a new creation (i.e. Resurrection)? 15
