Y S (Yaa Seen)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
O THOU human being! 1 By the wise Qur'an. 2 thou art truly among the Envoys 3 upon the straight path. 4 This is a revelation sent down from the Majestic and All-merciful 5 that thou mayest warn a people whose fathers were never warned, so they are heedless. 6 (I swear) that most of them are doomed to be punished. They have no faith. 7 Indeed, We have put shackles on their necks, and they are to their chins, so they are with heads [kept] aloft. 8 And We have placed before them a barrier and behind them a barrier, so We have covered them, so that they see not. 9 And it is alike unto them, whether thou warnest them or warnest them not; they shall not believe. 10 You warn only him who follows the advice and fears the Most Gracious without seeing; therefore give him glad tidings of forgiveness and an honourable reward. 11 It is We indeed who bring back the dead to life, and write down what they send ahead (of their deeds), and traces that they leave behind. We keep an account of all things in a lucid register. 12
