Say thou: I am but warner, and there is no god but Allah, the One, the Subduer. 65 “Lord of the heavens and the earth and all that is between them – the Almighty, the Oft Forgiving.” 66 Say: It is a message of importance, 67 Whence ye turn away! 68 I had no knowledge of the Exalted Assembly when they argued [against the creation of man]: 69 'Only this has been revealed to me: that I am to give warning plainly and publicly." 70 Your Lord said to the angels, "I am about to create a human being out of clay; 71 After I have created him and breathed into him of My spirit, fall you down, prostrating yourselves to him.” 72 So all the angels prostrated, every one, without exception. 73 Except Iblis; he was proud and was, from the beginning, a disbeliever. 74 He said: O Iblis! what prevented you that you should do obeisance to him whom I created with My two hands? Are you proud or are you of the exalted ones? 75 He said: I am better than he: me Thou hast created of fire, and him Thou hast created of clay. 76 [Allah] said, "Then get out of Paradise, for indeed, you are expelled. 77 Upon you will be My damnation till the Day of Doom." 78 Said [Iblis]: "Then, O my Sustainer, grant me a respite till the Day when all shall be raised from the dead!" 79 (God) said: "You have the respite 80 "Till the Day of the Time Appointed." 81 He said: "By Your authority, I will lead them astray, 82 "Except Thy Servants amongst them, sincere and purified (by Thy Grace)." 83 Allah said: the truth is, and it is the truth that I speak 84 I will fill up Hell with you together with those who follow you." 85 SAY [O Prophet]: "No reward whatever do I ask of you for this [message]; and I am not one of those who claim to be what they are not. 86 Lo! it is naught else than a reminder for all peoples 87 You will certainly know its truthfulness after a certain time. 88
