Al-Aadeyaat
The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
By the (steeds) that run, with panting (breath), 1 and produce sparks 2 And push home the charge in the morning, 3 And raise the dust in clouds the while, 4 thereby storming [blindly] into any host! 5 Verily man is unto his Lord ungrateful. 6 and surely he is a witness against that! 7 And indeed he is, in love of wealth, intense. 8 ۞ Knows he not that when that which is in the tombs is over-thrown, 9 and the secrets of the hearts are laid bare (and examined)? 10 Surely on that Day will their Lord be fully informed about them. 11
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
